Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on this site, what each is for, and how you control them.

What cookies we use
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep our use of them minimal. We set a cookie for advertising attribution only after you have given consent through our banner; strictly necessary cookies (if any) are used only to make the site function.
Cookie categories
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
rcg_attr | Advertising (consent required) | Stores the ad click identifiers (fbclid, gclid and equivalents) and campaign parameters from your arrival URL so we can attribute a lead to the ad that produced it. | 90 days |
rcg_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie-banner choice so we do not ask again on every visit. | 6 months |
We do not currently load third-party advertising or analytics tags (such as the Meta Pixel or Google tags) directly on this site. Conversion measurement is performed server-side and only after you consent — see our Privacy Policy. If we add any third-party tag in the future, it will be gated behind the same consent choice described below and listed here.
Consent Mode and how we gate cookies
On arrival, advertising and analytics storage default to denied for everyone. That means the rcg_attr attribution cookie is not written, and no advertising signals are shared, until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. This follows Google Consent Mode v2 defaults (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization all default to denied).
Managing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Rejecting advertising cookies stops the attribution cookie from being set and withdraws consent for ads measurement. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings; you will then be asked for your choice again on your next visit. To make a data request, contact privacy@remotecomp.app.
